Hi Sue, No they haven't done anything thru is groin since May. Maybe its just from starting back to work. Its only been one week. He is using ice and keeping it elevated for now. I guess he will need to call the primary in the am.
Hey Gretta, My hubby was having the same thing. He has thumping hiccup sensations on the left side lower abdomen. They adjusted it once in the hospital before he released after surgery, once in the drs office and then again last week after the cardioversion (Which worked YAY!!) The tech from Guidant and the Dr told us its sitting on a nerve and pretty much get used to it. The Dr said he rarely goes in and redoes such a procedure over a basic nuasance. He hasn't had it again since last week's adjustment. He isnt' scheduled to go back for 4 weeks.
Hi Gretta..what great news!! My husband seems to be back to himself physically. He isn't lifting, but back to driving and doing somethings around the house. His spirits come and go he does seem excited to go out of town next week to see his folks. We are hoping his cardioversion works on Tuesday. My husband returns to work on 9/1.
He has scheduled a cardioversion (chemical) for late August. He took him off Zestril, started him on Cardizem and Lanoxin in addition to the aldactone, coumadin, coreg and sotodol....GEEZE..CAN'T KEEP UP!! They made a minor adjustment for slight twiching he was feeling in his left abdomen. He told us to disregard the nurses at the hospital. He goes back in 4 months (except for the cardioversion-outpatient) and will see the transplant Dr (who is now is primary cardiologist) in 2 months.
He doesn't feel any better with it in. However once he started the meds he no longer had any symptoms.
