Ok, so DCM diagnosis came 5 years ago when went into V-tach. I have a bivent pacer with ICD, on amiodarone, lisinopril, and metoprolol. Sunday, was doing some yard work and couldn't catch my breath. Went inside and laid down felt better yet, with mild to moderate activity have to stop and catch my breath. Called Dr. who did a BNP, numbers were good, he said watch the salt and fluids, and reconsider working 12 hour shifts. My concerns: getting winded still, and looking for a job with 8 hour shifts.
