What on earth would be the "high voltage running through the ship"? Isn't it the same as in your house? I have heard the slots have magnets, but I am living proof that if you sit far enough back, nothing bad happens. I think I almost wore a machine out one day.....the symbols were starting to fray at the edges. Did you go on the cruise, or are you planning one?

As for the ships,the ship is steel and with it's generators,U have the high voltage bouncing off and going through the metal to the outlets.Oh yes,were on two cruises.carbbean a aouple of years ago,Alaska. For the one arm bandit,never had a problem.
